Sherie Kelly

May 23, 1955 — February 2, 2024

Sherie Marie Kelly, age 68, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 2, 2024, at Aspirus Langlade hospital.

Sherie was born on May 23, 1955, to Jean Marie (Keen) Wheeler and the late Charles Edward Wheeler in Milwaukee WI.

She was a graduate of Pewaukee High School. Following graduation, her family moved to the Pickerel-Pearson area. Sherie's parents owned and operated Wheeler Anchor Inn, where she worked in the family business. She also worked for Northwoods Evergreens in Merrill, and her love of children, she provided childcare to her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews. Sherie resided in Antigo for the past 33 years. She was a fabulous cook and loved to share her cooking with family. Family was so very important to her. She saw the good in everyone.


Sherie was a talented artist, painting, and drawing. She also loved to go for rides.

She was a member of Upper Room Family Church in Elcho.

Survivors include her son Ryan (Carrie) Kelly of Antigo, her mother Jean of Antigo, a sister Lori Wheeler of Antigo, a brother Reverend Shane (Sue) Wheeler of Elcho, grandchildren: Jericho Kelly (Hannah Zenkovich), Ellie Kelly (Zander Aros), and Margo Kelly, and many nieces and nephews.

Sherie was preceded in death by her father and a sister Lynn Schultz.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 19th at 11:00am at the Upper Room Family Church in Elcho with visitation starting at 10:00 am Reverend Shane Wheeler Jr will officiate.
