Shirley Mae Kestly

Shirley Mae Kestly died Monday, December 4, 2017 at The Bay at Eastview. She was 87 years old. She was born October 18, 1930, daughter of the late Gordon and Minnie (Hanson) Bovee. She married Richard F. Kestly on May 13, 1950, and he survives. Mrs. Kestly was a 1948 graduate of Antigo High School. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Waidelich Insurance. She enjoyed playing bridge. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, where she participated in the quilting group. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, John (Margaret) Kestly of Rothschild; 2 grandchildren, Sara Kestly and Stacy (Rick) Martin; 4 great grandchildren, Ashley, Audrey, Jack, and Max; and a sister, Renie Wagner of Antigo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon; and 2 sisters, Elaine and Helen. A funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Rev. Karen Tews officiating. Visitation will be 9:30-11:30 at the funeral home.
