Stephen F. Vanvleit

Stephen F. VanVleit, 61, died in Fox Lake, WI on June 23, 2010.The son of James and Lillian (Hulse) Cantrell, he was born May 15, 1949 in Cornwall, NY.Mr. VanVleit graduated from Juneau High School in Alaska. He was retired from the Alaska Marine Highway having served as a Chief Steward in Alaskan waters.Survivors, in addition to his parents James and Lillian Cantrell, Antigo, include a sister, Sandra E. VanVleit, Bellingham, WA, and two nephews.He enjoyed golf and ocean fishing. He was a great football fan. He was a very caring and loving son.A funeral service will be held Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Rev. James Stevens officiating. Visitation will take place Sunday from 4:00 p.m until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
