Theodore "Ted" Centner

Theodore "Ted" G. Centner, 63, of Antigo died unexpectedly December 18 at his home. Mr. Centner was born December 17, 1945 to the late Raymond G. and Anna M. (Lesch) Centner. Ted was united in marriage to Christine M. Jaremba on February 24, 1968. She survives.Ted owned and operated Ted Centner Contractors, beautifying hundreds of Antigo homes. Raised in Milwaukee, Mr. Centner was a graduate of Pius High School class of 1963. He served in the US Air Force. Mr. Centner was a member of St. Wencel's Church in Neva. He served on the City of Antigo Zoning Board and was a member of Antigo Men's Chorus. Ted was an excellent wood worker, enjoyed camping at Ada Lake, bass fishing, and cutting wood. Ted's wonderful humor and laughter will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors in addition to his wife include 2 sons Peter (Dionne) Centner of Rhinelander and Matthew (Amy ) Centner of Maple Grove, MN; 5 grandchildren Arianna, Ava, Aidan Centner of Rhinelander and William and Casey Ann Centner of Maple Grove, and a sister Sister Barbara Centner,RSM of Oak Lawn, IL. Ted was preceded in death by a brother Tom in 1996.
