Todd Allen Resch

On August 5th, 2026 Todd A. Resch, age 61, of Polar WI lost his courageous but short fight with lung cancer. He passed away peacefully at home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice.

He was born on January 2, 1965 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Raymond and Carole Resch. In 1985 he met the love of his life Carol and on April 17 they began their lives together and moved to Polar to raise their two daughters.

Todd was the most kindhearted person you could ever meet. If you heard him laugh just once you'd never forget it. He loved hunting. It truly was his passion, and he was so excited to see his daughter Steph and her kids become hunters themselves.

He worked numerous jobs while living up north! Hwy 45 Locker, VanOoyens Electric, Butches Super Value and was most proud to work for his brother at CK Electric out of New Berlin, WI. His last job was most meaningful as he was Carol's in home caregiver for the last 10 years.

Along with Carol he is survived by two daughters, Wendy (Patrick) Coughlin Aurora IL, Stephanie (Jesse) Radtke of Birnamwood WI, his brother Dale (Nataliya) Resch of New Berlin WI and a sister Amy (Russ) Beall of Cypress, TX, six grandchildren David Domeier of Chicago IL, Kate Domeier of Derry NH, Mikayla Radtke (Jeremy Landowski) of Mattoon, Dakota Radtke (Payton Steckbauer) of Bryant, Mikenna Radtke of Antigo and Kinsley Radtke and five great grandchildren Myla, Nevaeh, Ivey, Jesse and Elijah. They all meant the world to him. He is also survived by two nieces Amanda and Anna and a very special nephew Ethan.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Scott and his sister Tracy.

He truly left a mark on many hearts. He had a special relationship with two dear friends Dean DeBroux and Jeff Powell along with many countless friends. He will be missed by all who loved him.

There will be a celebration of life at Polar Town Hall Saturday August 22, 2026 for all who would like to come. More details will come in the near future.
