Tyler Astorina

Tyler John Joseph Astorina, age 20, of Iron Mountain, MI died Friday at his home.Tyler was born March 14, 1990 in Rahway, NJ to John Astorina and the late Nancee Gail Conway.Tyler graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 2009 and went on to work in construction. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, fishing, camping and playing video games. He was also a certified snowboard instructor, teaching at Pine Mountain.Tyler is survived by his father and step mother John and Wanda (Messer) Astorina of Neenah, WI; a sister, Jessica Astorina of Neenah, WI; a step brother, Tony Pool of Antigo; paternal grandfather John David Astorina, Sr. of Colonia, NJ; maternal grandmother Nancee Conway of Clark, NJ; uncles, David John (Jean) Astorina of New York state and Joe Conway of Califon, NJ; aunts, Michele (Bill) Leeming of Iselin, NJ and Karen Conway of Clark, NJ; a cousin, Melissa Leeming, his special friend Alyssa Witte of Kingsford, MI; and is also survived by members of his step mother's family. Tyler was preceded in death by his mother Nancee Gail, his maternal grandfather; Joe Conway; his paternal grandmother Beatrice Astorina, his step grandfather Paul Messer and a cousin Danny Kulpa.A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 9, 2010 at Four Corners Assembly of God Church in White Lake. Reverend Marvin Kindle will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the service at the church.Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
