Victoria Holmes

Victoria Holmes of Antigo, passed away on January 15, 2026 at Sutter Hospital in Roseville, California. She was 79 years old.

Victoria was born on July 21, 1946 in Chicago to the late Edward and Joyce (Eisenman) Lass. After high school, Victoria obtained her bachelor’s degree and went on to attend graduate school. She attended Fresno State City College, and UW Whitewater. She was united in marriage to Douglas Holmes in 1976 in Nevada. The couple spent many years in California before they moved to Antigo in 2013. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2017.

Victoria worked as a dedicated homemaker and also worked as an insurance manager and auditor in her younger years. She was a faithful life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints. She participated in the Church Relief Society.

Survivors include her grandchildren Amanda Dugan, Emma Thomas and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Victoria was preceded in death by a daughter Tara Toby, and sister Bonnie Palmer.

Victoria Holmes will be remembered for her strong will and determination for her family and heavily father.

In accordance with Victoria’s wishes, she will be buried next to her husband at Forest Home Cemetery in the Town of Schoepke.
