Viola G. Raasch

Viola Grace Raasch died Tues. Sept. 21 at Langlade Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and her family. She was 82 years old and a lifetime resident of Langlade County.She was born June 20, 1928 in Antigo, daughter of the late Rennie and Cora (Peters) Seipold. She graduated from Antigo High School 1946. She was a homemaker and dairy farmed. She lived her entire life in Langlade County, residing at her family's farm, which her grandparents originally homesteaded 1886, and the family continues to live on the land to this day.Viola enjoyed feeding the birds and watching them at her feeder. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Raasch was a member of Ss. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church.Survivors include 3 daughters, Elaine (John) McCullough of Antigo, Karen (John) Balyeat of Ironwood, MI, and Naomi (Bob) Stickney of Antigo, and 7 grandchildren, Kahlia Balyeat, Kailey Balyeat, Marissa Balyeat, Tyler McCullough, Travis McCullough, Christopher Stickney, and Nicole Stickney. She is also survived by her loyal dog, Buster.
