William "Bill" G Warren

William (Bill) G. Warren, age 79 years, of Antigo passed away May 21, 2022 Bill passed peacefully after a courageous battle with Brain Cancer while his Bride softly sang gospel hymns to him, and his children held his hand. Bill was born February 10, 1943 a son of Guy and Dolly (Townsend) Warren in Antigo, WI. Bill was a graduate of Antigo High School. William G. Warren and Patricia A. (Bures) married on January 15th, 1966 in Antigo at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Bill was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. His ancestry research was very important to him and something that has been recorded and passed down. Bill was exceptionally proud of his military service to this nation as were we. William Warren had four years of honorable service in the United States Air Force attaining the rank of Sergeant from 1964-1968, in Grand Forks, ND. Bill worked at Waukesha Motors, Merit Gear, Midwest Coach, and Amron Corporation where Bill retired. Hobbies include spending time with family over a meal and family gatherings, rummage sale shopping, wood working, and watching old western TV shows, CB Radios. Bill’s CB handle was Peanut Butter as one of his favorite snacks was something with peanut butter. Bill is survived by his wife Pat, children Tony (Diane) Warren and Carrie (Ryan) Kelly and son-in-law Brett Hauke. Grandchildren Brittany (Justin) Dahl, Jericho (Girlfriend Hanna) Kelly, Casey Warren, Erica Hauke, Ellie (boyfriend Zander) Kelly, Margo Kelly and Will Hauke. Great grandchildren Brantley, Olivia, and Colton Dahl. Further survived by brother-in-law, Joe Irish, sisters-in-law, Judy Connor, Kaye Lucas and Lucy Irish, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends. Pre-deceased by his parents, mother and father-in- law (Tony and Betty Bures). a daughter Jennifer Hauke, a grandson Emmanuelle Hauke, two sisters Jan Brandenmeuhl and Mickey McDougal, brother Chuck, nephew Jon, brothers-in-law Jack McDougal, Tom Brandenmeuhl, and Bob Connor. A Memorial Service for Bill, will be held on Sunday, June 12th at 10:00 AM at Christ Central Fellowship Church, 630 Superior Street, Antigo with Pastors Danny and Carla Pyeatt officiating. Military honors will be provided following the service. A luncheon for family and friends will follow in the Church Hall. The family would like to thank Aspirus Hospice Nurses, Hayley, Margie, Gabby and VA Nurse Jolene for their compassion and excellent care during Bill’s illness.
