William "Bill", Ingram, lifelong Antigo resident, passed away on March 18, 2023 at Rose Mary Manor in Mattoon under the care of his family, the staff at Rose Mary Manor, and Interim Hospice. He was 70 years old.
Bill was born on February 24, 1953 in Antigo to the late Omar and Betty (Owen) Ingram.
Bill graduated from Antigo High School in 1972. He went on to work at Vulcan Corporation for over 30 years. He also worked at Luxury Living and provided in home care.
Bill lived his life devoted to his faith and family. He cherished time with his family who knew him as Billy and his nieces and nephews who knew him as Uncle Buck. He was known to drop anything he was doing to help others and for his big heart that he wore on his sleeve. He loved music especially country. His love for music carried over into singing and participating in the Antigo Community Choir. Bill also enjoyed shopping and going out to eat. He also was a Make a Wish Foundation granter and did volunteer mission work in Honduras.
Bill is survived by sisters, Judi Ingram of Antigo, Kathy (Dennis) Viergutz of Minocqua, Tammy (Tyler) Albertson of Shawano, Brenda (Kurt) Berndt of Rhinelander, brothers, Bernard (Judy) Ingram of Goodman, Mike (Cherie) Ingram of Kronenwetter, Jerry Ingram of Wausau, and John (Linda) Ingram of Antigo, 12 nieces and nephews, and 12 great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother Jack Ingram and niece Amber Ingram.
A celebration of life for Bill will be held on Tuesday March 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at a later date at Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill's name may be directed to the Make a Wish Foundation.
Bill's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Rose Mary Manor for their compassion and care during this most difficult time.
