William "Bill" Wildman of Gleason passed away at home on April 28, 2023 at the age of 64.
Bill was born in Merrill on July 8, 1958 to the late William G. and Ferne Eileen (Turner) Wildman.
Bill graduated from Antigo High School, class of 1976. He served in the Army National Guard.
He was a former resident of Sheboygan. He worked for IAC in Sheboygan for close to 30 years, up until there doors closed. It was there he met his loving wife, Karen. He and Karen were together for 30 years and married for 24. The couple married in 1999 in Eagle River. Karen Survives. Bill worked for Lincoln Wood Products until retirement.
Bill enjoyed shooting darts and shooting pool. He also enjoyed being outdoors, deer hunting, fishing, and 4 wheeling, all with his wife Karen. He was an animal lover and will be deeply missed by his cats, Midnight and Salem. He was known for his loving sense of humor.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by daughter Amanda, stepdaughters Billie Jo and Valerie, sisters Jeanne Ahrens, Shirley (Ken) Perry, and Donna (Bob) Smith, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by siblings, extended family, and many animal companions.
A private graveside service will be held at Town of Summit Cemetery and a celebration of life for Bill will be held on a later date.
Bill always said, "If you cut a tree down, plant two more." Therefore, in lieu of flowers, a tree can be planted in Bill's name or a donation can be made to the humane society.
