William Franklin Loy, of Antigo and Orlando, FL, died at his home in Antigo on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the age of 63. He was born December 1, 1952 in Albany, GA, son of the late Lawrence and Hazel (Porter) Loy. He married Cheryl "Cheri" Koon on November 13, 1976 in Orlando, FL. Mr. Loy attended high school in Orlando, FL. He graduated from Chippewa Valley Technical College in 1987 with a degree in marketing and real estate. He was employed as a truck driver. His passion in life was providing karaoke. He was known as the "King of Karaoke" and operated Barnacle Bill's wedding DJ and karaoke service. He loved people, and never met a stranger. He enjoyed watching action movies with his boys. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include 3 children, William Charles Loy of Madison, Ezra Nathaniel Loy (Constance Moccia-Loy) of St. Augustine, FL, and Susan Reed of Neenah; 4 grandchildren, Tanner, Hannah, Madeline, and Colin; a sister, Merri Ellen Reed (companion Bill) of Deland, FL; and a brother, Larry (Dorothy) Loy of Havana, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, James R. "Randy" Loy. A celebration of Mr. Loy's life will take place at 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the Never Enough in Antigo.
