The Compassionate Friends - Ongoing Event

Assists families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age.  Meets from 7:00-9:00 PM the second Wednesday of each month at St. Joseph's Outpatient Center across from Langlade Hospital.

  • GriefShare Seminar Support Group
    Monday, September 9, 2019 : 5:30 PM to Monday, November 25, 2019
    GriefShare is a weekly video seminar featuring some of the nation's foremost experts on grief recovery topics.  Each seminar is combined with a small group discussion time to allow group participants to talk about the content of the seminar and about how they are dealing with the death of their loved one.   
    GriefShare is free and takes place at Peace Lutheran Church 300 Lincoln St Antigo

  • Living River Quartet Concert for Holiday Strength
    Saturday, December 7, 2019
    Wings-a Grief Education Ministry will be hosting a Living River Quartet Concert on
    Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Plaza Hotel & Suites, 201 N. 17th Avenue, Wausau.
    The theme is “You’ve Got a Friend.” The concert will feature a mixture of Christmas, spiritual, and feel good music. No charge. Everyone is welcome.

    The purpose of the concert is to connect people and strengthen those who are grieving or hurting. Music often explains the feelings we can’t say.
